Congrats to our fifth island buying club (Long Island, Maine) for placing their first order…and kudos to the other four! (Fox Island, Vinalhaven via The Arc Cafe, Chebeague Island, Swans Island, and can we count MDI?). For those of you who love island/local food activity there are several others who buy in the summer…
There are harder places in Maine to get local food to than the islands, though, so we’d also like to commend the new Greenville Buying Club who met the truck in Newport last week, and the Livermore Falls buying club that has been scratching up interest out that way!
