Crown O’Maine is a 17 year old distribution business supplying customers across the state with Maine grown, mostly organic food twelve months of the year. We define our work as advancing Maine’s food system as intelligently and intentionally as possible. It’s not just about produce, and it’s not just about supply and demand. Crown O’Maine is run by two sisters, Leah and Marada Cook. We earned our ‘street cred’ picking fingerling potatoes in extreme conditions on a small family farm in Grand Isle Maine and driving tens of thousands of miles around the state of Maine shlepping 50# boxes for the family farmers of Aroostook.
