Marada’s Dispatches: Maple Cream, Lamb Saddles, Fingerlings, wild arugula … it’s Restaurant Week!

Next week is restaurant week, Ivyn’s birthday (3) and Ryan’s (my partner, 34).  While this should be heading to the low point of the season, check it out:  Fingerlings coming in Monday.  Aroostook Root Veggies on for a fantastic feature (they roast AMAZINGLY).  Lisa at Northstar Farm has lamb saddles (ribs & loins, folks!) and Lisa at Tourmaline has her own goat meat for sale (including a summer sausage produced at Smith’s Smokehouse).

If you love Port Clyde products like we do, make sure to ask us about our frozen scallps anad shrimp.  We are very eager to start selling them.

We just had gala apples shipped in that are very crisp and fresh.

We have a limited amount of Russian Banana fingerling coming in next Monday (like 150#).

Last – maple cream.  What more can I say?  A seasonal delicacy you don’t want to hear about second hand.  Dive in!

I’d like every restaurant in this email list to buy something from us for Maine restaurant week – one step towards more local!  Give a call.
